These images of the proposed eastern Westbury bypass are from the CD which was distributed free by WCC.

It will be observed that this major new road would actually be very intrusive, a suburban style development within a presently natural rural landscape (which the quality of these WCC images does not do justice to).

Only a person with a very narrow viewpoint could say that the views would not be spoiled.

For walkers along the valley or on the ridge of the escarpment, this bypass would be very visible.

And the intrusive noise of heavy goods vehicles in once tranquil areas would spoil any viewing.
