And here is the accompanying WCC eastern route land ownership schedule.
Here also is a link to the
Westbury bypass planning application [on PDF]
- with Wiltshire County Council's eastern route land ownership schedule and drawing. After the covering letter and the
application for permission to develop land form (by which WCC's planning application simply passed between WCC departments,
just that, under the control of the same WCC Director of Environmental Services) you can see the land owners schedule on
pages 5 to 8, the drawing on page 9. This is all together in a 3MB file, so only suitable for broadband connections.
And, after venturing in to this big PDF file, remember to come back out.
The info is also on the WCC planning website for the eastern bypass scheme.
Francis Shephard of Madbrook Farm, T Painter of Blenches Mill Farm, S Painter of Glenmore Farm and Mrs Brittain
of Coach Road have objected to the scheme, on the basis of the detriment to their property and with further concern about
the damaging effects on the landscape, wildlife and water of the overall area.
Jones family land on the eastern route is area 3 on the map and schedule.
Mrs Jones of Fair View Farm is a supporter of the eastern bypass scheme.
As is her son Dorian Jones, the chairman of 'Westbury Bypass NOW!'
Fair View Farm, 5, beside the bypass route, has been sold to Lafarge.
Area 3 on the route through the Wellhead Valley is still Jones land.
Area 13 on the route is now owned by developers Robert Hitchins.
And here is more about Wiltshire County Council's wobbly CPOs.
